    Hi Horrors!

I’m a 45 year old woman who’s been roller skating since I was about 5 years old… It’s been a while since I’ve skated on a regular basis, but have a new pair of skates (YAY!), and look sooo forward to getting into it more again this year. My questions are: Am I too ancient to even think about trying out? Can I try out with my Reidell boot skates, or do I need to have special skates/ wheels? Would I also need to bring a helmet & knee pads? I don’t have knee pads, but I think I can dig up my helmet from somewhere…

    Thank you!
