The organization recently had $20,000 stolen from them.
CARE of DC is a non profit no-kill foster based animal rescue.
Please bring any new or gently used of the following items to the rink:
– Dog and puppy food: both wet and dry
– Dog treats: all sizes
– Cat/kitten food: both wet and dry
– Cat litter
– Used or new medium, large, and extra large crates
– Wee wee pads
– Sheets both flat and fitted
– Light weight blankets
– Towels
– Dog and cat beds
– Dog toys and bones: extra tough is always good
– Cat toys
– Baby/pet wipes
– Cleaning supplies such as, bleach, lysol spray, lysol wipes, sponges, brooms, paper towels, hand sanitizer, laundry detergent

I can’t skate, but are there other ways to be involved? I would love an opportunity to be involved, even if only as a launderer, water-woman, or mascot. I enjoy roller derby a great deal and want to support our badass Horrors women!

Yes! Roller Derby requires a lot of non-skating helpers to run a game.
We call them NSOs (Non-Skating Officials). But don’t let the “Official” part scare you.
It’s easy and we will show you everything you need to know.
Right now all WFTDA leagues are on hold due to the COVID pandemic.
