A Hudson River showdown is coming to Albany’s Washington Avenue Armory Saturday night, May 21, as the Albany All-Stars Roller Derby hosts us in a double-header clash for Hudson derby supremacy.
The action starts at 6 p.m., with the first clash between the Albany B Squad and our zomBsquad. The matchup of B-squads is the warm up for the final clash between the Horrors and the Albany All-Stars.
Music is to be provided by All-Stars regular Slick Fitty, the Albany-based rockrock, rockabilly and roots band. The featured charity is to be The Guatemala Project. Half of monies raised through raffle tickets sold are donated to a different charity at each bout.
Tickets for the double header are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children under 12 are $4. Tickets can be purchased at the Armory Box Office or at Ticketmaster.com.
